NEW Green Eco-Friendly Paint

Jump on the green bandwagon by using green eco-friendly paint at home instead of latex or oil-based paint! Green Seal, an environmental organization, reports that more than 80% of purchasers are buying green products. The new green eco-friendly paint is more durable and longer lasting than older versions of environmentally friendly paints. Paint emits airborne chemicals, called volatile organic compounds (VOCs), even after it is dry. VOCs contribute to air pollution and can cause health problems such as cancer according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Green eco-friendly paint releases little or no VOCs because it is a water-based paint. The lowest VOC paints are Green Paintmarked with a Green Seal. For a list of green paints visit The Green Guard Institute where there are currently 40 environmentally friendly paints listed.
