Holiday at Home Turkey Recipe

It's a holiday miracle! For the first time in my life, I attempted to bake a turkey and it was a success! I baked a Turkey without burning the house down! It was moist and my husband even said that it was the BEST turkey he EVER had! Now that's a raving review! I read several online recipes and used a mixture of those recipes to create my own (see below).

Christina's Turkey with Spice & Apple Stuffing
1 (10 lbs.) Turkey
2 (6 oz.) boxes of cooked Stove Top Savory Spices Stuffing
2 medium apples, chopped
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
With knife, loosen Turkey lining under skin leaving all but one edge attached.
Mix stuffing and apples in bowl.
Spoon mixture into pocket under loosened skin.
Place, skin side up, in shallow roasting pan.
Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil over top of Turkey.
Roast 2 1/2 hours.
Baste with pan drippings; cover loosely with foil.
Roast an additional 2 1/2 hours.

Whether you are at home or away during this holiday season,
I hope it is filled with good food, family, friends, and laughter!
