My Favorite iPad App - PDF Expert

My real estate clients are able to sign and have their offer submitted at lightning speed thanks to my iPad and PDF Expert, my favorite iPad app. The iPad app lets you type, highlight, and strikeout text on a PDF, then email that annotated PDF to the client, the office secretary, the other real estate agent, whoever! My clients are also able to sign electronically directly on my iPad. Electronic signatures come to the rescue when my clients had to sign the purchase agreement in an hour or they were going to lose the house to the next bidder. The PDF Expert iPad app also provides more legible copies than faxed or scanned documents. Faxed and scanned documents can significantly delay closing in the mortgage underwriting process. I highly recommend checking out PDF Expert today!

I also like Cartavi for doc storage. Check that one out, too!

Christina, good tips here.  Is it possible to use WritePDF or PDEexpert to save a template of an offer with client signature and use this template on multiple properties?!

Let us know.

Last week, I tried Micrsofot latest Tablet offfering called Suface!

On packaging alone iPad has a much sleeker finish and feels polished to the touch.  Surface has very sharp and harsh edges.  In fact, at the Store, they have it on a glass surface and every time I was moving it; the anchor in the back of the unit was making that screeching sound of Finger-Nails on a Blackboard!!   Harsh...., so that's ONE on packaging.

Number 2 is that I got the impression that Surface is an After-Thought for Microsoft where the design appears to have started with a Notebook then the form factor was altered to function as a tablet.  iPad was a tablet from the start.  I wanted a device that boots from flash!  The MS guy told me that I can just NEVER shutdown the Surface and just close the lid which puts it to sleep.    Or have my desired app running all the time, but close the lid.......  All of this gave me the impression that this is indeed a PC, parading in a Tablet clothing.

Number 3 is price point where MS is asking people to pay a Lexus price for a Toyota!  In fact, buying a Notebook with Win 8 is a MUCH better deal than the Surface.  Unless MS  drops the price of Surface to $200 an below including the Keyboard.

I'm considering buying an ipad, so I'm glad to hear that my clients can sign electronically.
